Inflation is eating into your breakfast - now bread is pricier
After milk prices, bread prices are now up by ₹5 in cities such as Mumbai.
Modern Bread has increased prices by up to ₹5, and others may follow, ToI reported. While this is in Mumbai, it could play out in other cities, too.
The reasons for the hike: costlier LPG, packaging material, salt and other ingredients, and transport.
