Quick commerce and on-demand service apps are facing a shortage of gig workers as many return home.
They are returning due to several reasons: elections in some states, harvest season, as well as LPG supply issue in cities.
Active workers are 10–12% lower than earlier this year, affecting delivery capacity, as per The Economic Times.
